Answers

  1. Who can attend the US Pre-World Conference?

    The US Pre-World Conference is open to members of Sai Centers and Study Groups. The conference is intended for adults (and young adults), and not for children. You may bring children and have them stay in the hotel with you. However, no special program is being planned for children, and if the conference room is overflowing, adults will be given preference.

  2. When should I plan to arrive and depart from the conference?

    The conference program starts on the morning of Saturday 17 April and concludes at lunch time on Sunday 18 April. Plan to arrive Friday evening and depart Sunday afternoon or thereafter.

  3. Can I arrive early and depart later?

    Yes, the hotel will accept bookings at the group rate up to 3 days before the conference and 3 days after the conference. You will be responsible for making your own travel arrangements from the airport to the hotel if you are arriving/departing outside of the Friday/Sunday times.

  4. What airport should I fly into?

    The nearest airport to the Pre-Conference hotel is Orlando International Airport (MCO).

  5. Will transportation be provided from the airport to the hotel?

    Yes, devotees from the Sai Baba Center of Orlando will make arrangements to pick up devotees from the Airport. Please indicate your arrival times on the Registration webpage.

  6. What is the cost for Registration?

    There is no cost for attending the conference. You will be responsible for making your own hotel reservation and paying for your stay at the hotel (see details in the Hotel/Meals section).

  7. Will arrangements be made for meals?

    A light dinner will be provided on Friday night by the devotees of the Orlando Sai Center. Three meals on Saturday and two meals on Sunday will be provided at the total cost of $35. Please send in your payment at the address indicated on the Hotel/Meals section.

  8. I have special dietary requirements. Will those be accommodated?

    All meals provided will be vegetarian. Please specify other dietary requirements (e.g. gluten-free) on the Registration page. All effort will be made to accommodate these requests.

  9. I want to attend the Conference but I don’t know my travel plans. What should I do?

    Please register for the conference as soon as possible. Later, when your travel plans are known, please update the travel information so arrangements can be made to pick you up at the airport.

  10. What is the Cancellation policy?

    You can cancel attendance for the conference by Sign-In to your registration and click "Cancel Registration" link from the left side navigation. You are responsible for canceling your own hotel reservation.
